If you like schnitzel this is the place to go. Potato salad is amazing. Every dish is prepared fresh when ordered. You can't go wrong with this restaurant and Wilfred, the owner, is a wonderful host. Private events also hosted with advance notice.

Yum x 10.And show up hungry because you get lots! We ordered three different kinds of schnitzel at our table and they were all very good. The schnitzels covered most of the plate. The Spatzle was very light and fluffy. The German (Austrian) potato salad was scrumptious. There were multiple German/Austrian beers on tap (I had a Stiegl which was good but simple).IMPORTANT: You need to show up early (before six) if you are planning on dinner., or make reservations. They are also open for lunch.

Cute little restaurant in Sunridge Ontario that is a must go to feel at home and have some schnitzel. Everything was amazing and I got to try new things. Definitely recommend going for dessert as well because it is to die for. As well as try the Austrian coffee if you enjoy a strong cup of coffee. Definitely would go back and try other things on the menu. Enjoyed the atmosphere, server and food.

Amazing Schnitzel! Great service and food served by a one-man operation. Authentic Austrian food lovingly prepared (you can hear them tenderizing the meat in the kitchen!) Don't be fooled by the aesthetics of the building; the food is amazing.

My buddy and I stopped in for lunch and were lucky enough to stumble into this place while out sledding. Simply put, it was an authentic experience and the food was hand made fresh. We will definitely be back!

Second time there and not disappointed

This is my favorite place to go for authentic European food. Everything is homemade with love. The owner cooks everything fresh and delivers it to your table with pride. The schnitzel is on point. There are other schnitzel restaurants in the area, but the quality, variety and price make this restaurant a much better choice. I even have picked up to-go orders and have never been disappointed. The owner is kind and genial, and takes pride in the meal he cooks for you.

This is a very unique place with excellent food. I love their food. The first time I visited I was a bit freaked out to be honest. The place looks like something out of a scary movie but Wilfred (owner) is a delight and the food is A+. We eat here every time we are in Sundridge. I definitely recommend! A local gem!

Love this place, the ambience, the original food with so much dedication, patience. Not rushing after $. Just happy to have returning guests. I ve been there ,done that. I ll be having our xmas dinner right there. Cant wait

Easily the best schnitzel I've had in Canada next to my mothers. Highly recommended if you want delicious Bavarian food. Very lovely and homely but food is essentially made on the spot and totally worth it. Who'd a thought you'd find little bit of Austria in northern Ontario?

Absolutely fantastic food. Everything was served at the same time even though we were a group of 10. Already planning to bring another group back. Prices were very reasonable, and the amount of food was HUGE. Wonderful desert too.Definitely a gem in a small town.

Wow. I wish I lived close to this place, I would be there all the time. I have to say, the portions are HUGE. if the portions were half the size I would still be happy. I felt like i was in Austria or germany the moment I stepped through the front door. The gentleman who was running the place was so friendly and attentive, I loved talking to him about his restraunt and its authenticity. They also have a great selection of imported german Austrian beer.

Amazing restaurant. Service was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Wilfred, the chef and owner, came out to personally check in on us. The food was fantastic as well. Priced well for the amount of food you'll get. Couldn't recommend enough.

Be sure to come hungry because the portions are huge. It fills up fast so be sure to make a reservation. If you're a coffee lover, finish it off with the Vienese coffee.
